All SmartCounseling.com therapists are licensed in good standing within the state in which they practice and carry malpractice insurance. Before SmartCounseling.com assigns clients to therapists, therapists must complete our tele-mental health training administered by a board certified tele-mental health expert. In addition, their background is verified by our therapist onboarding specialist.
Once you have completed the brief questionnaire, the SmartCounseling.com matching system will offer you a selection of two to three therapists whose expertise comes closest to meeting your needs. You may review their profiles and decide on which therapist is best suited for you.
If you are not fully satisfied with your therapist’s assistance, you may email support@smartcounseling.com and a client specialist will help transition you to another therapist.
